Advice on measuring
‚ Stick the sensor tip at least 1.5 cm
deep into the thickest part of the
meat.
‚ Do not take measurements directly
on the bone.
‚ There are two scales: the left one
shows the temperature inside the
meat, and the right one shows the
oven temperature.
‚ Observe the doneness
recommendations for poultry,
pork, lamb, veal, and beef in the
centre of the scale.
‚ If you want to use the thermometer
solely as an oven thermometer, use
the fastening clip to attach it to the
baking tray.
‚ You can use the adjustable
temperature marker to mark a
temperature on the scales. You
will then recognise more easily
whether the needle has already
reached, exceeded or fallen short
of a temperature.
‚ You can measure the temperature
permanently (in the oven) or only
selectively.
