CHECKING THE TREADMILL FOR PROPER LUBRICATION
• L ift one side of the treadmill belt and feel the surface of the running board.
• I f the surface feels moist (slippery), you do not need to lubricate.
• I f the surface feels quite dry and/or if the device begins making unusual noises, you
should apply lubrication.
APPLYING LUBRICATION
• L ift one side of the treadmill belt.
• A pply/spray lubricant to the middle of the running board.
• T urn on the treadmill on the lowest speed level. Wait until the lubricant has been
distributed evenly beneath the belt.
• Note: Do not apply too much lubricant. Thoroughly wipe away any excess lubricant
from the sides of the belt. ATTENTION, SLIP HAZARD!
GENERAL NOTES ON ADJUSTING THE BELT
• T he belt is correctly centered ex works and features a special mechanism that
maintains its central position. After a long period of use, you should nonetheless
check whether the belt is still centered on the running board and runs with sufficient
tension. If this is not the case, the belt must be adjusted.
• R un the belt at a speed of approx. 5-6 km/h and check whether it drifts to one side.
• T urn off and unplug the treadmill to ensure that the belt will not start moving while
you are making adjustments.
• U se the included hex key to center the belt or carefully set the tension by turning the
adjusting screws (left and right at the rear).
• Caution! Over-tightening the screws will reduce motor performance and put too
much strain on the rollers.
