Connect the positive terminal of the charge source (alternator or battery charger) to the input point of the char-
ge separator (IN+).
Connect the positive terminal of the battery or battery group to one of the output points of the charge separator.
If there is only one battery or battery group, we recommend always using the first output point (A OUT). If there
are two batteries or battery groups, we recommend always using the output points A OUT and B OUT.
Connect the negative of the charge source and of the battery to the same bracket.
Make the connections as in fig.1 :

OPERATION
The instrument starts to divide the charge as soon as the charge source (switched on) is connected to the input
point.
When the charge source is switched on and connected to the input, the POWER led (green) lights up, indicating
that the instrument is functioning.
WARNING: if the power led is off, the instrument behaves like a traditional diode charge separator (with
low efficiency and high development of heat). Working under these conditions can damage the instrument.
