ADJUSTMENT INSTRUCTIONS
VAPOR BARRIER
TO ADJUST THE TOOL TO THE FLOORING
1. Loosen both Knobs until the Foot and Front Guide move freely.
2. Engage the Nose with the Tongue of Flooring.
3. Push the Front Guide to the subfloor and the Foot to the flooring.
4. Tighten both Knobs.
Refer to the flooring manufactures installation instructions for proper fastener and
fastening technique.
IMPORTANT: Test the tool on a scrap piece of flooring to ensure proper staple placement and
compatibility. D

TONGUE OF FLOORING
With tool properly located on tongue of flooring,
slide the tool along the tongue without lifting the
tool off the floor while fastening as shown above
and to the left.
AIR PRESSURE:
Air pressure must be adjusted to properly
countersink the staples. Air pressure should be
set using a scrap piece of flooring to adjust the air
pressure for correct countersinking.
