3. B efore every use, make sure the harness is not
damaged or twisted.
4. M ake sure you can fit no more than one
finger between the harness and your baby
(1cm).
5. O nly use the headrest of the Bébé Confort
Pebble when the shoulder belts are in the
lowest position.
Warning: Never place the Bébé Confort Pebble
on an elevated surface (such as a table or chair).
Bébé Confort Pebble car use
1. A lways check to make sure the car seat can
be installed properly in your car before
purchasing it.
2. M ake sure the fold-down rear seat is locked
into position.
3. P revent the Bébé Confort Pebble from
becoming trapped or weighed down by
luggage, seats and/or slamming doors.
4. M ake sure that all luggage and other loose
objects are secure.
5. T he safest place for your baby is the rear of
your vehicle, however if you need to install
the seat in the front passenger seat, please
ensure that any airbag is deactivated.
6. O nly use a forward-facing seat that is fitted
with a 3-point safety belt that complies with
the ECE R16 standard (at a minimum).
7. M ake sure the car safety belt buckle runs in a
straight line and stays below the belt hook of
the Bébé Confort Pebble. See the p.8
example.

8. T he car safety belt must be threaded along all
blue markings. For proper installation
instructions, see pages 8-9 and/or the sticker
on the side of the Bébé Confort Pebble.
9. A lways cover the Bébé Confort Pebble when
exposed to direct sunlight in the car.
Otherwise, the cover, metal and plastic parts
could become too hot for your child's skin.
Warning: The Bébé Confort Pebble may only be
installed in a rear-facing position in the car.
Bébé Confort Pebble in aeroplanes
• I nstalling the Bébé Confort Pebble with a
2-point safety belt is only allowed when used
in an aircraft.
• I n an aircraft, the Bébé Confort Pebble may
only be used on forward-facing passenger
seats.
