5.4 Opening the case

Please use a slot screwdriver for removing the case cover.
Prise up the case cover of the motion detector with the screwdriver at both the places marked in the picture.
Then remove the cover.

Connection, checking and maintenance
work on the open motion detector must
only be performed when it is disconnected
from the power. The points listed in the
"Safety notes" section must particularly be
observed.

Before opening the case cover, it must be
ensured that no external parts lying on the
cover can fall into the case.
The connection cable must be pushed through the
grommet before the insulation is removed.
Push the cable approx. 15-20cm through the
grommet and the case.
The cable hanging out of the case can be routed
and connected.
Store the cable in the rear part of the case before
you close the case.
IMPORTANT The connection cable must be
pulled back by approx. 1 cm in the grommet in
order to ensure the leak tightness and thus the
protection class IP 65 of the case.
