In order to connect the charge point to NewMotion's
online user portal, a free port must be available on the
Ethernet router / switch.
Space in distribution box
There needs to be su cient room in the distribution board to
add any necessary circuit(s) to protect the charge point.
Presence of solar panels
If solar panels are installed, it is recommended to connect
the charge point on the same phase(s) as the solar panels
in order to make the maximum use of the energy
generated by the panels.

SAFETY
The electrical system must be voltage-free during
the entire installation procedure.
The installation procedure must be carried out by a
trained electrician who works in accordance with
the relevant laws and regulations such as BS 7671.
Do not carry out installation work in rain or when
the humidity is above 95%.
