Installation on Macintosh 10.3
1. Start your Internet browser.
2. Open "http://[ServerPC]/Tools" and then "RW-7140 PLOTCLIENT MAC".
3. Save the file "RW-7140.ppd" with Drag & Drop on the Macintosh Desktop.
4. Open the window "System Preferences" by clicking on the icon "System Preferences" in the symbol bar.
5. Click on the icon "Print & Fax" to open the window for setting up a new printer.
6. Click on the option "Set Up Printers" to open the window "Printer List".
7. Click on the button "Add" to add the new printer.
8. Now select the option "IP Printing" and choose option "LPD/LPR" as "Printer Type".
9. Enter the IP address and the enabling name which you entered on installing WINPRINT on the PLOTBASE server.
10. As "Printer Model", select the option "other" and then select the file "RW-7140.ppd from the desktop.
11. Close the window with "Choose" and finish the final dialogue with "Add".
Installation on Macintosh 9.x
For Macintosh 9.x there is a special PPD file. Please refer to the "Support" folder on your RW-7140 installation DVD.
