Description of the appliance

Operating principle

● The energy directly heats the base of the pot or pan and with low loss, without unnecessary heat
ing of the ceramic cooking surface. Thereby, the food to be cooked becomes hot quicker. The
ceramic cooking surface is only heated by the heat coming from the cookware. This largely pre
vents food that boils over from sticking to the hob surface.
● Highest efficiency is only attained using "induction-heating compatible" pans and pots.
● Pan detection: The previously selected heat level is switched on automatically when an induction-
heating compatible pan is placed on the induction hob; removing the pan switches the hob off
again.
● Overheating protection/empty cooking protection: If the cookware is overheated, the cooking hob
switches off. Switching off due to overheating is carried out, for example, due to empty cooking,
unsuitable cookware, defective cookware (pot base has come away from the core).
