Standard values for cutting capacity
The specifications on the cutting capacity are standard values only as they are also greatly
affected by the following factors: type and quality of the material; pressure of and impurities in
the compressed air; temperature of the workpiece to be cut; desired cut quality; condition of the
electrodes and cutting nozzle; distance and position of the cutting torch relative to the
workpiece; power source characteristics; cutting speed.
