When you use the TH020 for the first time:
1. Remove the plastic static label on the screen display.
2. Open the battery door located on the back of the unit.
Note: to open the battery compartment, lift the thermometer's stand.
3. Insert 3 x LR6/AA type batteries observing the polarity indicated at the bottom of the battery compartment,
and as per the diagram shown opposite.
4. Close back the battery compartment. The hour, date, indoor temperature and hygrometry will be displayed
on the LCD screen.
Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged.
Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision. Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be
mixed. Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used. Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy. The supply terminals are not to be short circuited. Do not throw batteries into a fire.
Remove the batteries if you are not going to use the game for a long period of time.
WARNING: If the unit malfunctions or receives an electrostatic shock, press the RESET key located at the back of the unit. If this proves to be
ineffective, remove the batteries and insert them again.

MODE key
• To select the "Alarm" mode (the alarm time and "ALM" are displayed onscreen), the "Calendar", or the"Time" mode (time, date and temperature display).
• To confirm the time, alarm clock and calendar settings.
• In Time mode, press and hold the "MODE" key to toggle between the 12H (AM/PM) and 24H time display.
• To switch off the SNOOZE function when the alarm goes off.
SET key
• In "Time", "Alarm", "Calendar" mode press and hold the "SET" key for 3 seconds to enter the setting mode.
• To confirm a setting and proceed to the next one.
• In "Time" mode, to toggle between temperature display in °C or in °F.
