If the water evaporates during cooking and drops below the minimum
mark, the device will switch off automatically.
CAUTION: the water may be very hot, therefore use clamps or
protective utensils to avoid the risk of burns while removing the
food.
Maintenance
This appliance does not require any special maintenance.
Disconnect the plug from the socket and let the appliance cool down well
before cleaning it.
Before cleaning the device, always disconnect the power cord from the
socket and leave the heater to cool completely.
In order to avoid scale build-up on the cylindrical immersion heater,
perform the following cleaning operations at least once a month:
Insert the device in the container and fill the latter with water up to the
MAX mark on the cylindrical immersion heater.
Set the temperature to 70°C and add 5 g of citric acid (edible) per litre
of water.
Operate the heater for 20 minutes after the water has reached the set
temperature of 70°C.
Switch the device off and pull out the plug, then leave it to cool and wash
the lower part of the heater in cold water.
Strictly avoid using abrasive products or chemical solvents.
NEVER IMMERSE THE HEATER'S DISPLAY IN WATER.
Dry the device fully before storing it away.
Periodically check that there are no cuts or burnt section along the power
cord. Do not use the device if its power cord gets damaged, but pull out
the plug and contact an authorised technical assistance centre.
Dry carefully the appliance before to put it back.
Periodically make sure the power cord is not cut or burnt. If the cable
should have been damaged, do not use the appliance, remove the plug
and contact an authorized after sales service centre.

Error code: E02.
The digital thermostat is broken. Contact the technical assistance centre.
Error code: E05.
Verify that the water level falls between the MIN and MAX marks. Switch
the device off before raising the water level.
