operation

1. Please select the desired mode. Strong mode is default. Select an expo-
sure type by pressing the mode button. Strong mode is default.
2. As with all high-performance lights, high-intensity light is related to evo-
lution of heat. In case of longer irradiation next to the pulp or soft tissues,
irreversible damage can occur; therefore, exposure in strong mode (full
energy, see Chapter 'Start-up') close to the pulp should not exceed 5 se-
conds on the same area (acoustic beep after 5 seconds)! It is recommen-
ded to work at intervals of 5 seconds or to use other, weaker modes. For
this reason, the light may only be operated by qualified staff members. It
is imperative to avoid contact with gingiva, mucous membranes or skin.
3. After one session you can press the power button immediately for the
next session (only if the handle is not too hot). Otherwise the unit needs to
cool down before using it for the next session.
4. The distance from the light guide rod to cured material(s) should be 1 - 2
mm; not using the right distance will affect the result seriously.
5. Do not use the Super 1200 LED before the light is covered by the trans-
parent material.
