The storage battery shipped with the Super 1200 LED is not charged. You
must charge it completely before first use.
Sterilize the fiber-optic light guide before first use and before each use after
that. For this purpose, remove the protective cap (Chapter 'Cleaning and Re-
processing'). The Super 1200 LED should be used in temperatures between
15° C and 30° C and humidities between 30% and 75%.
1. Screw the battery into the handle and insert the light guide rod into the
handle. As the light guide rod is in the proper position, there will be a
slight 'snap' sound.
2. Place the eye protector at the end of the light guide rod.
3. Put the charger base on solid ground and connect the charger to suitable
power and put the handle into the charger base. The indicator on the
charger base will indicate the status of the battery. If the indicator is red,
the storage battery is being charged. If the indicator is green, the battery
is fully charged. Charging time: max 4 hours.
