7. Possible Malfunctions

PROBLEM
Device does not heat
The device motor does not
start
The device connected to
power supply, but the red
control lamp is not lit
Chocolate drips and flows
unevenly, does not form a
"fountain effect"
The chocolate flow is
constantly interrupted
After addition of chocolate/
ingredients, chocolate flow
is interrupted
CAUSE
Mains plug not connected
to a power outlet
A temperature is not set
The temperature knob is
deffective
Thermostat is deffective
Function switch set in
„0" position
Function switch is
defective
Power cord is defective
The fuse of electric circuit
has triggered
Chocolate is too
dense
Temperature setting is
too low
The device is not leveled
Product pieces have fallen
into the chocolate
Chocolate or ingredients
are too cold
REMEDY
Connect the mains plug to
a power outlet
Rotate the temperature
knob to the desired
position
Contact a dealer

Set function switch to „I"

Check the power cord and

Check the power supply
Thin it with cooking oil
Select a higher
temperature setting
