Do not place any containers containing liquid on or in the furniture item.
These can fall over and water could run into the control unit. Risk of short
circuits and fire!

Never place any objects objects into the control unit or open the housing
of the control unit.
CE mark and conformity

This fitting complies with the effective European and national
requirements. The conformity has been verified and the relevant
documents have been deposited with the manufacturer.
UL mark:

The control unit and the remote control have been tested in accordance
with the UL safety standard and are approved for use in Canada and the
USA.
Note for furniture manufacturers in the EU:

This electromechanical fitting is subject to testing according to the
machinery directive 2006/42/EC, which requires an evidence of
conformity for the operable furniture item from the furniture
manufacturer, resp. distributor. The furniture manufacturer must ensure
that all standards and legal specifications for the operation of this
electromechanical fitting are complied with!
4.
Remote control
In the factory settings the remote controls are not programmed. The control
unit must first be programmed during start-up. Individual remote controls can
be taught or removed in teach-in mode.
Before starting up the control unit, insert batteries into the control unit, see
chapter entitled "Battery change", page 22.

NOTE
Ensure that teach-in mode is only activated on one control unit. If several
control units are put into teach-in mode at the same time, the remote con-
trols on these control units will also be taught.
