- Use the power packs only at 230 V alternating voltage and 50 Hz. It is inadmissible to use them in damp
rooms or outdoors or under detrimental ambient conditions. Detrimental ambient conditions are:
- Moisture of excessively high humidity of air,
- Dust and inflammable gases, vapours or solvents,
- Heavy vibrations
Any use other than the one described above damages the product. Moreover, this involves dangers such as
e.g., short-circuit, fire, electric shock, etc. No part of the product may be modified or rebuilt and the housing
must not be opened. Always observe the safety instructions.

1. ON-OFF switch "ON (I) OFF (0)"
2. LED indicator (luminescence diode, briefly light-emitting diode) as an operation indicator.
3. "COARSE" setting knob for a coarse adjustment of "VOLTAGE" (output voltage)
4. "FINE" setting knob for a fine adjustment of output voltage
6. Indicator of output current (to set the current limit)
7. "COARSE" setting knob for a coarse adjustment of the current limit (output current)
8. "FINE" setting knob for a fine adjustment of the current limit
9. "PRESET" switch for a change of the display from the instantaneous load current of the "NORM" con-
suming unit over to the current limit "C-LIMIT" which is set.
10. "OUTPUT" switch to switch the power pack output on (ON) or off (OFF)
11. Yellow-light "OFF" LED to indicate that "Output" is switched off
12. Yellow-light "TEMP" LED to indicate an excess temperature (thermal overload)
13. Green-light "CV" LED as an LED indicator of the output voltage (Constant Voltage)
14. Red-light "CC" LED as an LED indicator of the current limit (Constant Current)
15. Metallic jack, 4 mm, for connection to ground (= protective grounding conductor = direct connection to
the protective conductor of the mains lead)
16. High-load terminal/-4-mm jack for the positive (+) output
17. High-load terminal/-4-mm jack for the negative (+) output
