•
Keep handles dry, clean and free from oil and grease.
•
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at
all times.
•
Never stand on the machine.
•
Stand upright. Keep distance between your face and
the cutting blade. Place both hands on the work piece
as far away from the cutting blade as possible. If
plunge function is used is one hand placed on the
cutting handle.
Use and care
•
This machine is designed and intended for cutting tile
and stone. All other use is improper.
•
Experience is very important when running the
machine. A skilled worker is highly recommended.
•
The machine is intended for use in industrial
applications by experienced operators.
•
Check that the machine is assembled correctly and do
not show any signs of damage.
•
Always perform daily maintenance before starting the
engine. See instructions in the section "Maintenance".
•
Do not overload the machine. Overloading can
damage the machine.
•
The blade shall be intended for the material to be cut.
•
If you are uncertain of what blade to use contact your
local service dealer.
•
Keep tools sharp and clean in order to enable safer
work.
•
Keep all parts in good working order and ensure that
all fixtures are properly tightened. Replace all worn or
damaged decals.
•
Never leave the machine unsupervised with the motor
running.
•
Feed the work piece against the rotation of the blade
only!

OPERATING
Basic working techniques
!
•
Check that the blade is fitted correctly and does not
show signs of damage. See the instructions in the
sections "Blades" and "Assembly and settings".
•
Check that the correct blade is used for the application
in question.
•
Never cut asbestos materials!
Motor protection
There are two systems for motor protection.
Motor overheating indicator
•
When the motor temperature exceeds the permitted
level, the lamp will come on. Stop working, turn off the
motor with the switch and wait for the lamp to go out,
the motor temperature will then have dropped to an
acceptable level to continue working. Continued work
with the indicator lamp on will involve risk of motor
breakdown.
Overload protection
•
The overload protection will be triggered/activated if
the motor is exerted to high loads for long periods or if
the blade is jammed for a long time. This protection
cuts the current supply to both the motor and the
pump. Reset by pressing the 'Reset Button'. There is
an inertia in the system that means it can take a few
minutes before it is possible to reset the breaker.
If the lamp is on and the overload protection triggered, the
lamp must first go out before it can be reset.
CAUTION! Under all circumstances avoid
grinding using the side of the blade; it
will almost certainly be damaged or
break and can cause immense damage.
Only use the cutting section.
Never use a diamond blade to cut plastic
material.
Cutting metal generates sparks that may
cause fire. Do not use the machine near
ignitable substances or gases.
