3. Pull the starter handle out approximately
4 to 6" (10 to 15 cm) until you feel a
resistance and then start the engine with a
sharp pull (see Fig. 15-1).
NOTE: If the engine fails to start after
three pulls, repeat the process.
4. Once the engine is running, put the starter
rope into the rope guide (see Fig. 16).
To stop the engine
As shown in Fig. 17
Release the operator presence control bar. It
will return to its initial position and the engine
will automatically switch off.
