SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions
carefully before use and keep
them for future reference.
Keep the appliance and the
power cord out of reach of
children. Do not let children
use the induction cooking
plate. The induction field that
heats the pan is harmless
to adults. However, children
are sensitive to it, so we
recommend a minimum
distance of 1 metre for
children when the cooking
plate is being used. For the
same reason, we advise
pregnant women against
using the induction cooking
plate.
Children are not allowed
to play with the appliance.
Children should always
be monitored to prevent
them from playing with the
appliance.
The appliance may be used
by persons with a physical,
sensory, mental or locomotor
disability and by persons
without the necessary
experience and knowledge,
provided they are supervised
by a person responsible for
9
their safety, or if they are
given instructions on how
to use the appliance safely
and if they understand the
dangers associated with the
use of the appliance.
People with a pacemaker, an
implanted defibrillator or a
hearing aid should discuss
the use of an induction
cooking plate with their
doctor, since it cannot be
guaranteed that the medical
appliance is sufficiently
insensitive to this.
