Place t he Air Condit ioner close to t he window ensuring
t here is at least 20" of clearance from t he wall and any
ot her obst ruct ions. Extend t he hose so t hat it reaches
t he Window Kit . Insert t he Exhaust Hose Adapter
into t he opening in t he Window Kit and slide it into t he
locking posit ion. Ensure t hat t he hose runs st raight to
t he window wit h no excess extension. Import ant : The
Air Condit ioner must be vented to t he out side. Do not
use a longer hose or extend t he hose included wit h t he
Air Condit ioner or t he unit will not cool properly and will
overheat .

Do not remove t he ground prong from t he power
cord plug.
Do not use an adapter.
Do not use an extension cord.
Failure to do so can result in deat h, fire or
elect rical shock.
A. Plug t he power cord int o a grounded 3 prong
out let .
B. Press t he Reset but t on on t he plug t o ensure
t he safet y plug is providing power t o t he Air
Condit ioner.
C. When removing t he Air Condit ioner, be sure t o
remove t he Window Kit .
