Types of tension:
A. Correct tension (Fig. F45a)
B. Overtension (Fig. F45b)
Adjust the tension adjustment knob (23) between "9 and 0" .
C. Insufficient tension (Fig. F45c)
Adjust the tension adjustment knob (23) between "0 and 9".
> > Use with extractable shelf
Operate with the appliance off and electrically disconnected
during the installation of the shelf (4).
1. Mount the shelf (4) (see paragraph "Removal/installation of extractable shelf ".)
2. Raise the foot (13) by pressing the foot lifting lever (8) upwards and position the
fabric.
3. Lower the foot (13) by pressing the foot lifting lever (8) downwards.
4. See the paragraphs "Sewing" to start sewing.

1. Place the shelf (4) upside down on a horizontal and stable surface (Fig. F44).
Place the appliance on the extractable shelf (4) and push it downwards (Fig. F7).

Push the extractable shelf (4) to the right until you hear the "click" (Fig. F8).

2. Raise the foot (13) by pressing the foot lifting lever (8) upwards.
Place the fabric (cuffs or bottom of the trousers) under the foot (13) and press the lever
(8) downwards to lower the foot.
3. Switch on the appliance by pressing the switch (7) on "I" or "II" (Fig. F30).
4. Gently press the pedal (26) with your foot to start sewing (Fig. F31).
