4. Pull the thread clamp (22) and position the thread from top to bottom in the clamp-
ing part, then release the thread clamp (22) (Fig. F23c).
5. Pass the thread from the hook (32) (marked with "3") with movement from the bot-
tom upwards (Fig. F23d).
6. Pass the thread from left to right through the hole of the traction rod (33) (Fig. F23e).
7. Pass the thread through the ring (34) (Fig. F23f).
8. Pass the thread through the needle clamp (35) (Fig. F23g).
9. Pass the end of the thread through the eyelet of the needle (Fig. F23h).
It is possible to insert the thread into the eyelet of the needle with the help
of the appropriate threader (28).
10. Pass the lower thread clockwise as shown in figure "F23i "
• Make sure that the thread passes correctly through the clamp (35).
• When passing through the upper thread tension adjustment knob
(23), lightly press the thread clamp (22) of the thread to make sure
there are no thread jams.
11. Replace the top cover (3) by sliding it to the right.

Operate with the appliance turned off and disconnected
electrically.
1. Raise the foot as explained above and hold the upper thread between your fingers
by pulling it out approximately 10 cm (Fig. F24).
2. Remove the transparent cover (36) (Fig. F25).
3. Insert the full coil into the appropriate compartment (Fig. F26).
4. Remove the coil thread by approximately 10 cm (Fig. F27).
5. Hold the upper thread between the fingers of your left hand, then turn the handwheel
(6) to move the needle up and down (Fig. F28).
6. The upper thread raises the coil thread (Fig. F29).
7. Pass the two threads under the foot, then push the lever (8) down to lower the foot.
8. Replace the transparent cover (36) (Fig. F30).
Make sure that the thread in the coil turns clockwise (Fig. F31).
