Intended use
The product is to be used as fan in indoor locations. The fan speed and
therefore the air quantity moved can be set in several steps. Further-
more, the air distribution can be changed with a motor-driven panning
mechanism.
The product can be operated either directly at the table fan or with the IR
remote control included in the delivery.
The table fan must be connected to a protected ground mains socket
(220 - 240 V/AC, 50/60 Hz).
The product may be installed and used only in dry, enclosed conditions
indoors.
Always observe the safety instructions included in these operating in-
structions. Read the operating manual carefully; keep it in a safe place or
pass it on to others who will be using the table fan.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this
product and involves the risk of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc. No
part of the product may be modified or converted!

Safety instructions
Damage due to failure to follow these operating instructions will
void the warranty! We do not assume any liability for any resulting
damage!
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage
caused by improper use or non-compliance with the safety instruc-
tions. In such cases, the warranty will be null and void.
a) General
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is
not permitted for safety and approval reasons (CE). Do not open/
disassemble! Contains no customer-serviceable parts.
Maintenance, adjustment or repair work may only be carried out
by an expert/authorised service centre, which is familiar with the
hazards involved and the relevant regulations.
• The table fan is designed according to protection class I. It must
only be connected to and operated at an appropriate protected
ground mains socket 220 - 240 V/AC, 50/60 Hz) of the public supply
grid.
Before connecting the product to the power supply, make sure
that the connection values at the type sign of the product comply
with the ones of your domestic power supply.
• The outlet used for the connection of the table fan must be lo-
cated in direct proximity to the device and be easily accessible.
Alternatively, an all-pole separator for the mains voltage (e.g. a
residual-current circuit breaker) must be present.
• This product is not suitable to be operated by persons (including
children) with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities ore with
limited experience and/or knowledge unless they are supervised
by a person responsible for their safety or were instructed in the
use of the device by this person.
• To protect children from the dangers posed by an electronic de-
vice, you must make sure that the device is never unattended.
Therefore, you must select a storage location for the device that
cannot be reached by children. Ensure that the cable does not
hang down.
• Do not leave the packaging material unattended since this may
become a dangerous plaything for children.
• Handle the product with care; it can be damaged by impacts,
blows, or accidental falls, even from a low height.
b) Installation location
• Only place the product on a level, stable and sufficiently large sur-
face.
• Never position and use the product directly next to a heat source.
• The product may be used in dry, enclosed indoor areas only; it
must not get damp or wet! Never set up the product in the direct
vicinity of a bathroom, shower, bathtub or similar. There is a risk of
a life-threatening electric shock!
• Do not operate the table fan in the vicinity of an open window to
prevent a short-circuit being caused by dripping or rain water.
• The product is not a toy and does not belong in the hands of chil-
dren. Position the product so it is out of the reach of children. Chil-
dren must be supervised to make sure they do not play with the
product.
• The product must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, direct
sunlight or strong vibrations.
• The power cable must not be pinched or damaged by contact with
sharp edges. Do not place any objects on the cable, and do not
allow it to become kinked. Protect the mains cable from heat or
cold.
Install the cable where no one can stumble over it and the plug is
easily accessible. Do not install the mains cable under carpets or
the like.
• Do not operate the device in environments where there are high
levels of dust, flammable gases, vapours or solvents. There is a
danger of fire and explosion!
