Configuration is complete, the value displayed is henceforth the magnetic field
intensity with symbol B and the units are mT.
4.2 Jack
The 3.5mm jack is for connection of the Initio 2 to a Groomy
181 000) for example. The voltage supplied varies between 0 and 5V. So that:
- -20°C corresponds to 0V
- 120°C corresponds to 5V
5. WIFI communication
Using the WIFI (451 470) module, it is possible to visualize the Initio
on a tablet or similar.
5.1 Installation of the WIFI module
The WIFI module is fitted with the Initio
- Raise the handle of the Initio
- Remove the back by sliding it down
- Position the WIFI module instead of the back
- Push the module firmly into place until it clicks. It must be possible to
retract the handle without forcing it.
5.2 Visualisation on a tablet
Once the WIFI module is installed, the tablet must be configured:
- Press the Menu button
- Select Parameters
- Select Network
Information concerning the module is output to the screen.
- On the tablet, chose the name of the WIFI network displayed on the

Initio 2.
- Open a web browser
- Enter the address displayed by the Initio
browser.
6. Parameters
Various information concerning the Initio can be obtained by pressing on Menu
and selecting Parameter  Information
This page displays the serial number of the instrument and the software
version, the battery charge level and the operating language. The latter is
modified by turning the knurled knob.
