Clearing Material Jams
If too much material (paper, CDs, credit cards) is fed to the cutting mechanism at one
time, the material jams. The shredder switches off automatically in the event of a material
jam.
Proceed as follows:
Press the REV button to activate reverse operation and feed the material back out.

Press the FWD button to clear the infeeds of any residual material.
●
If necessary, remove any residual material manually from the paper infeed.
●
Press the AUTO button to reactivate the automatic function.
●
Reduce the quantity of material being fed into the shredder.

8.1
REV function (reverse operation)
Set the function switch to the REV setting so that the cutting mechanism runs in reverse,
thus releasing the material and feeding the jammed material back out.
8.2
FWD function (forward operation)
Set the function switch to the FWD setting to run the cutting mechanism forwards and
shred any residual material left in the infeed and feed it out of the cutting mechanism.
The FWD function is used after clearing a material jam to start the cutting
