TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE CHECKLIST
NEVER MAKE ADJUSTMENTS TO ANY ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE OR
PRODUCT WITH THE POWER CONNECTED. DON'T JUST UNSCREW
THE FUSE OR TRIP THE BREAKER, REMOVE THE POWER FROM
THE RECEPTACLE.
TROUBLE
Unit does
not run.
The pump
makes loud
noises when
running.
Unit runs but
does not pump
liquid out.
Liquid drains
back into
pump from
discharge line.
Liquid leak
from around
the check
valve.

PROBABLE CAUSE
Check the power supply.
No accumulated liquid
in basin.
The float mecanism is
wedging.
The drain line is blocked.
The unit impeller or pump
containing debris.
Float activation is block.
Check valve is blocked
or debris on it.
Check valve too tight or
too loose.
O-ring under check valve
is damaged.
ACTION
Check if the appliance generates
enough condensation.
Check to make sure the pump float
mecanism moves freely and clicks the
activation switch when moved and down.
Check the drain line(s) into the pump for
obstructions. Verify for the good condition
working of appliance.
Refer to the maintenance on page 5.
Check the tank for debris and clean
if necessary.
Check the activation float to be sure it is
not stuck in the up position.
Check the height of the discharge tubing to
be sure it does not exceed 20 vertical feet.
Check the discharge tube or obstructions
and clean if needed.
Check the check valve for obstructions.
Refer to the maintenance on page 5.
If the discharge line is plumbed so the
highest point is less than 5 feet above
the pump.
Check that the valve is hand tight, then
tighten an additional 1/2 turn with 9/16''
wrench.
Replace the O-ring.
