4.2 - CONTINUOUS GRINDING
In continuous mode the motor is enabled as long as the button (7) is pressed.When it is released, the
grinding is stopped.
NOTE: the grinding is not associated with the LED indication (8). After a continuous dose or at least an
addition of 20 seconds , there is the inhibition of any dose, which continues for the next 100 seconds.
4.3 - STAND-BY MACHINE
The system provides the possibility to enable or disable the machine stand-by function as follows:
ENABLING: when the card is powered by pressing the key (7), the LED (8) will be on steady; in this
condition, the stand-by function is provided on the machineDISABLING: feeding the board by pressing
the button (7) the led (8) will flash fast (for about 3 seconds) then lit steadily; in this condition, the stand-by
function is not provided on the machineIf the stand-by condition is enabled in the machine, the system
provides that after 30 minutes of inactivity of the machine, the LED is in slow flashing mode and the card
is inhibited in all its functions.To return to normal operation without stand-by it is necessary to press the
key (7), making sure that the LED (8) from slow blinking becomes steady. In this condition the machine
can work without any restriction.
4.4 - PRESET
Feed the board keeping the keys (5) and (6) pressed, the led (8) will then flash quickly, performing the
preset that sets the first short grinding 5 sec. and the long grinding 8 sec.
5 - MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
CLEANING OF THE APPLIANCE
HOPPER (2): close the hopper slide gate , remove the hopper by unscrewing the two fixing screws and
empty it from the remaining coffee beans. Clean the hopper with a moist soft cloth or with a small amount
of water and soap to eliminate any oily residue. After cleaning the hopper has to be fixed again on the
main unit with the two screws.
GRINDING CHAMBER: close the hopper slide gate and grind the remaining coffee in the grinding
chamber. Remove any remaining coffee bean from the bean hopper. Put the recommended grinder
cleaning product into the bean hopper, put the hopper at its place and open the slide gate in order to
allow the product to enter the grinding chamber. Grind all the cleaning product at a medium coarse grind
setting until nothing remains in the grind chamber.
Clean the hopper and refill it with coffee beans.
Discard the first 2-3 doses of coffee to assure that no residual clearing product remains into the grind
chamber.
EXTERNAL BODY: WIPE WITH A DRY OR SLIGHTLY DAMP SOFT CLOTH.
DO NOT SUBMERGE THE GRINDER IN WATER OR USE POWER WHASHING DEVICES.
DO NOT CLEAN THE APPLIANCE WITH A WATER JET.
