– Make sure the power system is equipped with a safety cutoff that works properly and that the cross
section of the cables is sufficient for the power absorbed.
– For any type of malfunction or problems not specified here, unplug the machine and do not attempt to
check and/or repair it yourself. Contact a qualified service center or the manufacturer.
3 - INSUCTIONS FOR THE USER
To start the TRITASASSI coffee grinder follow the instructions below:
– Open the external packing and take the grinder out. Inspect the grinder to ascertain that it is intact
and in good condition.
– Position the grinder on a flat surface.
– Press the main switch (1).
– Pour coffee beans into the coffee grinder container (2).
– The coffee grinder is set for optimum grinding. For various reasons, the type of coffee, moisture... it
may be necessary to change the setting.
– - To adjust grinding, press the locking pin (10) and turn the adjusting gear (4) clockwise to bring the
burrs closer for finer grinding. Turn it anti-clockwise to move the burrs further apart for coarser grinding.
WARNING The coffee grinder is equipped with a safety device preventing the motor
from overheating Should the safety device set in, wait for the system to cool down
and make sure that the overheating not caused by external sources. Grinding grade
adjustment is to be performed while burrs are running.
Use the filter holder with a filter from a cup if you want a coffee, two cups filter if you want two coffees
at the same time.Placing the filter holder on the support (9) and pressing the grinding button (3) once, the
dose needed for a coffee will be dispensed; by pressing the milling button (3) twice, the dose required for
two coffees will be delivered. (See section 4.1)Keeping the button (7) pressed, you will obtain a continuous
grinding. When the button is released, the grind stops. (see section 4.2)
4 - FUNCTIONALITY
4.1 - DOSAGE PROGRAMMING
The grinding time can be adjusted by programming and is highlighted by the flashing of the LED (8)- The
grinding seconds are expressed in flashes of 0.5 seconds; for example if you want an 8-second grind
the led (8) will flash 16 times.- the 0.5 seconds of grinding are expressed in flashes of 0.2 seconds; for
example, if you want an 8.5 seconds grind the led (8) will flash 16 times plus a fast flash of 0.2 seconds.
To change the time of the short dose, press and hold down the button (8) until the LED (8) turns off; the
subsequent flashing indicates the programmed dose time.To change the time of the long dose, press and
hold down the key (5) until the LED (8) turns off; the subsequent flashing indicates the programmed dose
time.Keep the key (8) or (5) pressed according to the dose to be programmed until the LED (8) turns off
and increase with the key (5) or decrease with the key (8) the selected milling time in steps of 0.5 seconds.
