7. Precise cursor setting
The optical, gyroscopic mouse uses Windows or Mac standard drivers, you have no
other driver to install.All the settings available for a standard desktop mouse (like the
cursor's speeds of movement and the mouse's double-click speeds) are also available
for the optical LW 2.4 GHz mouse.
Several parameters determine the method for setting the optical, gyroscopic mouse
according to your personal preferences, like screen resolution and driver version.To
familiarise yourself with your mouse and the method of controlling the cursor in
space, we recommend that you adopt the following settings :
• Pointer speed – Average.
Some new users prefer to set this speed slightly below the average. Seasoned users
increase the speed such that their wrist hardly moves when crossing the screen with
the cursor.
• Acceleration – Low or stop.
Consult your operating system documentation to learn more about customising the
mouse's properties.
You must install the GyroToolsTM software in order to program the mouse's three
programmable buttons.
8. GyroTools Software
GyroTools is a collection of software tools enabling you to customise your mouse's
functionality.Allocate your preferred tools to the mouse buttons so as to steer your
presentations with your fingertips.
1.To install the GyroTools software, insert the GyroTools disk in the CD reader and
follow the instructions on the screen. If the program does not start after a few
seconds, go back into Workstation (on the desktop), click on the CD reader and
open SETUP.EXE
Note : Once the GyroTools software is installed, you can follow the full operational instructions in the online
help menu.
