OPERATING THE UNIT
1. Check that the coffee maker is cold, and then unscrew it by holding the boiler (3) with one hand and
turning the pitcher (2) anticlockwise.
2. Remove the funnel (11) and, to prepare 3 cups of coffee, fill the boiler (3) with fresh water until reaching
the safety valve (10) which is visible inside the boiler, without exceeding it. On the other hand, to prepare
1 cup, fill the boiler (3) with water up to the mark (at 2 centimeters) located below the safety valve (10).
Note: use fresh and soft water. Salty or hard water will weaken the aroma. WARNING: do not use the
coffee maker without water inside the boiler; never use hot water for faster operation.
3. Insert the funnel filter (11) in the boiler (3). To prepare 1 cups of coffee, also insert the 3 cups adapter
(12) in the funnel filter (11).
4. Fill the funnel filter (11) with ground coffee, without pressing it. Fill it a little at a time to prevent the
coffee from spilling. Distribute the ground coffee uniformly removing coffee from the edge of the filter.
Note: Use good quality, medium-ground coffee, for MOKA coffee makers.
5. Tighten the coffee maker securely, by holding the boiler (3) with one hand and turning the pitcher (2)
