6. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plug or appliance
in water or other liquids. Do not connect the unit to the mains and do not
operate the control panel with wet hands.
7. Do not use this device for purposes other than its intended use. This
appliance is intended for household use.
8. Never touch the moving parts of the device, especially the blades, when
the device is connected to a power outlet. There is a risk of serious injury!
9. Disconnect the power plug from the power outlet when the device is not
in use, is being cleaned, is being disassembled or parts are being replaced.
10. The device is not suitable for dishwashers. Only the plastic blender jug
and the lid can be cleaned in the dishwasher, and only if the temperature
does not exceed 100° C, as a higher temperature will make deformations
more likely. Please refer to page 19 for cleaning instructions.
11. The appliance should not be used outdoors. Never use accessories that
have not been purchased from the manufacturer.
12. Do not place the appliance near electric / gas heaters or on hot surfaces.
13. Be very careful with the blades in general. Never touch or clean the blades
when the blender jug is on the blender, always remove it first.
14. Do not operate the blender if the blades are loose or damaged.
15. After the blender has been in operation for 3 minutes, it must cool down
for 1 minute.
16. The maximum volume of the blender jug corresponds to the labeling on
the outer side of the blender jug. If the contents are thick, the volume will
be less.
17. When blending nut butters or oil-based foods, it is important not to blend
for more than one minute at a time to avoid overheating.
18. When blending hot liquids or contents, it is important not to start on the
highest speed setting. Start with a low speed and gradually increase it.
19. The built-in thermal protection monitors the temperature of the motor
and warns the user of overheating. If the motor becomes too hot, the
temperature protection switches the motor off independently to prevent
damage. In this case, remove the blender jug and wait approximately 2
minutes before continuing blending.
20. If your recipe repeatedly causes overheating, make sure you do not have
too many ingredients and enough liquid in the blender jug.
