Cold air operation
If you would like to use the appliance as a fan, move the function switch to the fan symbol and
turn the temperature control to the highest position.
Switching the appliance off
If you would like to switch the appliance off, turn the switch to the lowest level or 0 and then
unplug the appliance from the power socket. The control lamp goes off.

The appliance is equipped with overheating protection that automatically switches the
appliance off in case of overheating. Shift the function switch to the '0' position and
unplug the appliance from the power socket. Let the appliance cool down for approx. 10
minutes before using it again.
•
Should the overheating protection shut the appliance off again after a short period, there
is probably a defect. Switch off the appliance again and unplug from the power supply.
•
Have the appliance checked by the dealer or by our service.
• Always unplug the appliance before cleaning!
• Wait until the appliance has cooled down completely!
• Under no circumstances should you immerse the
appliance in water for cleaning purposes. This might
result in an electric shock or fire.
• Do not use a wire brush or any other abrasive items.
• Do not use any acidic or abrasive cleaning agents.
Note:
•
Wipe off the heater with a dry cloth in order to remove dust.
•
A damp cloth (not wet) can be used to remove stains.
