be disposed of with household waste, but must be collected separately. Please enquire about collection points
for batteries and electrical waste at the relevant office in your town or municipality.
Used batteries must not be disposed of with household waste, as they can contain toxic elements and heavy
metals that can be harmful to the environment and human health.
Consumers are therefore obliged to return batteries free of charge to retailers or local collection points. Used
batteries are recycled. They contain important raw materials such as iron, zinc, manganese or nickel.
