WINDING THE WATCH
Your new automatic watch has a manual
winding mechanism. When wearing the
watch, the mainspring is automatically
wound by the motion of your wrist.
The power reserve is 41 hours. That's how
long your watch will run when it's not being
worn.
You can also manually wind your watch. The
crown should be in the normal position for
this. Slowly turn the crown clockwise to fully
wind the watch. Further turning of the crown
will not damage the mainspring.
Rotate the crown from time to time even with
regular wear to avoid corrosion.
MATERIALS
DETOMASO started as an ambitious idea
between a visionary designer and a world-
class watchmaker, but has quickly transi-
tioned to a precision timepiece. And these
ambitions are reflected in the selected
materials.
DETOMASO uses only the best components
for the URBAN EXPLORER AUTOMATIC GMT:
Automatic movement from the Japanese
tradition, Seiko Caliber NH34
Case material made of hypoallergenic 316L
surgical steel
Double-curved sapphire crystal with anti-
reflective coating
10 ATM water resistance according to DIN
8310
SETTING THE TIME
EEnsure your watch is running. If not, wind it
as described above.
Pull the crown out to the 2nd position.
Turn the crown clockwise to adjust the time.
Push the crown back to the normal position
when you're done.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Your watch is meant to bring you joy and
accompany you for a long time. Protect your
watch from shocks, magnetic fields, strong
heat, chemicals, and mechanical abrasion.
With a water resistance of 5 ATM, it can
withstand splashes of water, so you don't
need to take it off when washing your hands.
However, try to avoid exposing it to water too
often, for the sake of the bracelet. The crown
should always be in the pushed-in position
while wearing it.
If you notice condensation under the glass,
immediately send the watch to our watch-
maker's workshop or take it to a specialist
store to prevent moisture from causing
damage. A slight time deviation in automatic
watches is normal. However, after 5 to 7
years, the movement may lose precision and
require servicing. The servicing can be done
at our watch workshop (contact: service@
detomaso-watches.com) or at a specialist
store.

SETTING AND USING THE 24-HOUR HAND
Pull the crown out to the 1st position.
Turn the crown clockwise to adjust the 24-
hour hand. You can use the 24-hour hand to
display the afternoon time (PM) when your
watch shows the morning time (AM).
You can also use the 24-hour hand to track a
different time zone. For example, if it's 8 AM
in your time zone and you want to follow a
time zone that is 9 hours ahead of your loca-
tion, set your 24-hour hand to 5 PM.
Push the crown back to the normal position
when you're done. Set the time and return the
crown to its normal position.
