Das heißt, Deine Uhr besteht unbeschadet Händewaschen, Regenspritzer Schwimmen, Duschen, Baden oder Tauchen. Wasserdichtigkeit ist keine bleibende Eigenschaft; sie sollte jährlich und insbesondere vor besonderen Belastungen überprüft werden, da die eingebauten Dichtungselemente in ihrer Funktion und im täglichen Gebrauch nachlassen.

Sie soll Dir lange die richtige Zeit anzeigen. Schütze Deine Uhr vor Stößen, Magnetfeldern, starker Hitze, Wasser und Chemikalien, sowie vor mechanischem Abrieb. Bei der nicht sachgerechten Kürzung verlierst Du mögliche Garantieansprüche. Kürzung des Metallarmbandes: Zum Kürzen des Metallarmbandes benötigst Du zwei Schrauben- dreher mit einer Spitzenbreite von 1,4 mm.

Lichtwellen werden in elektrische Energie umgewandelt und in einem Kondensator gespeichert. Einmal aufgeladen, arbeitet die Uhr ca. 6 Monate ohne erneut mit Licht geladen werden zu müssen.
