CAUTION:
CAUTION: It is advisable to test the
depth
on
a scr ap wor kpi ece
to
determine the required depth for the
application.
To determine depth of drive, first adjust
the air pressure and drive a test
fastener. Never exceed
110
psi.
FIRING THE TOOL
The tool is equipped with a selectable trigger
with two firing modes:
SEQUENTIAL FIRING MODE
Single sequential actuation provides the most
accurate fastener placement. This is
considered to be more restrictive mode of
operation, suitable for less experienced users.
To use the tool to drive nails in this actuation
mode, work contact element and trigger must
be used in a specific order.
1.
Disconnect the tool from the air source.
2.
Press the selectable firing mode button,
turning the selectable firing mode switch
to the upwards, the firing mode indicator
should be pointing at the single nail icon.
3.
Connect the tool to the air source.
4.
The
work contact
element must be
completely depressed by placing the nose
of the tool against the workpiece.
5.
The trigger must be pulled firmly and then
released.
6.
The tool must be allowed to recoil away
from the workpiece.
To continue operation in a separate location,
move the tool along the workpiece, repeating
step 4 through 6.

Note:
If the trigger is pulled before the work contact
element is depressed, the tool will not operate.
CONTACT ACTUATION MODE
Contact actuation allows very fast, repetitive
fastener placement.
To use the tool to drive nails in this actuation
mode the work contact element and trigger can
be actuated in any order.
1.
Disconnect
the tool
from the air source.
2.
Press the selectable firing mode button,
turning the selectable firing mode switch in
the downwards position, the firing mode
indicator should be pointing at the multi-nail
icon.
3.
Connect tools to the air source.
4.
Pull and hold the trigger with the tool off the
workpiece.
5.
Press the work contact element against the
work piece. A nail will be driven.
6.
The tool must be allowed to recoil away
from the workpiece.
7.
Move the tool along the workpiece with a
bouncing motion. Each time the work
contact element is depressed a nail will be
driven.
8.
As soon as the desired number of nails has
been driven, remove finger from trigger.

actuation mode position
NOTE:
This actuation mode is recommended when
less precise nail placement is required.
Extreme care should be taken because a
will be driven when the work contact element is
pressed against any surface.
Since the tool can be actuated without
removing the finger from the trigger, this is
considered to be a less restrictive mode,
suitable for more experienced users.

WARNING:
An improperly functioning tool must not
be used. Do not actuate the tool unless
the tool is placed firmly against the
work place.

CAUTION:
Check the operation of the work
contact element trip mechanism before
each use. The WCE must move freely

distance. The WCE spring must return
the WCE to its fully extended position
after being depressed. Do not operate
