Resin may rise to the surface of the wooden planks. Resin stitches up to 5 cm long do
not impact the product. It should be removed with a soft tool or turpentine, in small
quantities so as not to stain.
• Superficial mold
Superficial mold can appear on the wood's surface due to heat and humidity. Use a rag
or sandpaper to remove surface marks.
• Cracks and checks
The density of the wood varies depending on humidity and temperature. Under the
effect of heat, the wood shrinks and can reveal significant cracks. This is normal and
does not affect the mechanical properties or the quality of the garage. However, if the
cracks are more than 8 mm wide, customer service can be contacted to determine
what corrective actions can be implemented. This applies to the floor and walls.
In dry weather, knots can fall. You can fill these holes with a flexible wood repair kit
(not included).
• Graying
Wood changes color over time, to keep the color, a stain should be applied to the wood
when it is dry. In rare cases, the wood may gray out of compliance in the event of poor
product maintenance.
• The product is warranty for 5 years.
• LP® SmartSide® Panel is warranted for 15 years.
The warranty does not cover:

Faults appearing because of insufficient protective treatment;

The cases of non-compliance with the conditions of use, care, maintenance,
and storage described in this instruction manual;
