10] MAINTENANCE
1. Check armature bolt for tightness
The bolt must be sufficiently tight to avoid the armature from coming loose, but not
too tight otherwise it stops movement against the rubber washer located behind the
armature.
Note: CDVI recommends the use of thread lock on the M8 bolt and other fixing screws to help
stop loosening when in operation.
2. Check maglock fixing bolts for tightness
Ensure that the fixing bolts don't loosen while the armature has the room to pivot. We
recommend using thread lock for all fixing bolts.
3. Clean face of maglock
This action is recommended to be performed on a monthly basis.
Use a soft cloth and a light lubricant to wipe clean (i.e. WD40)
Note: DO NOT use oil to clean the surfaces as this will attract dirt to stick to faces.

Internal surface electro-magnetic locks range
Electro-magnetic locks have undergone specific treatment
which strengthens the protection against wear and tear and
corrosion. Nevertheless, it is highly recommended to perform
maintenance checks every quarter minimum to ensure
optimal performance. The first check should take place one
month from the day of installation.
