LED ring light
To mount the LED ring light, fi rst mount an adapter ring (11) that suits with the fi lter mount of your lens.
Slide the LED ring light with its rear side onto the adapter ring until it clicks closed. The ring light is now fi rmly attached to your
lens, however it can still be positioned by turning it.
Connect the spiral cable (10) with the output socket of the LED ring light (2) with the output socket of the control unit (4).
USAGE
On/O switch settings
The On/O switch (8) can be moved to 3 positions:
(Flash) The ring fl ash is turned on now. The LED ring light is activated as well. With the dim dial (9) the light intensity
of the LED light can be adjusted variably. The fl ash can be released either by the camera or the test button (7).

(Continuous light) The LED light is activated and can be adjusted variable using the dim dial (9).
Taking pictures

We recommend taking pictures in aperture priority mode, so you can defi ne the aperture manually and thus select the desired
focus range.
The LED ring light incorporates 80 LEDs for shadow free illumination of macro and close-up shots.
The permanent light allows the recognition of reflections. To eliminate them, you can change the position of your camera or of
your object.
If you wish to achieve a higher depth of field, the additional usage of the flash is recommended. This way you can close 1 full
aperture step.
Recommended range of use: approx. 3 to 100 cm.
Camera Settings
White Balance: Set your camera to auto white balance mode (AWB). If a more accurate setting is required you can do a manual
white balance metering (PRE).
Exposure: For macro and close-up shots we recommend to select the aperture manually in order to keep control of the depth
of focus. Adjust the shutter speed manually (M) or with aperture-priority mode (A).
Focus: We recommend manual focus adjustment for close-up and macro shots.
Note: In order to avoid blurred images, we recommend the use of a tripod.
