PRECAUTIONS GENERALES
1. COWMAISSEZ VOTRE OUTIL. Lisez soigneusement
le mamuel d'entretien. Retenez ies utilisations possi¬
bles et ies iimites de I'outil, ainsi que les dangers par-
ticuliers qu'il peut entramer.
2. LAISSEZ LES PROTECTIONS EN PLACE et en etat
de fonctionnement.
3. ENLEVEZ LES CLES ET CLAVETTES D'AJUSTAGE.
Prenez I'habitude de verifier qu'eiles sont enlevees
de I'outil avant de le mettre en marche.
4. MAIIMTENEZ PROPRE LA ZONE DE TRAVAIL. Les ate¬
liers et les etablis encombres invitent les accidents.
5. EVITEZ LES CONDITIONS DANGEREUSES. Ne pas
utiliser les outils electriques dans des endroits mouil-
ies ou humides. Gardez I'endroit de travaii bien
eclaire.
6. ELOIGNEZ LES ENFANTS. Tout visiteur doit etre
maintenu a distance de securite du lieu de travail.
7. GARDEZ UN ATELIER SIJR, a I'aide de cadenas, d'in-
terrupteurs generaux ou en retirant ies cles de
demarrage.
8. NE FORCEZ PAS L'OUTIL. II fera un travail meilleur
et plus sur au regime pour lequel il a ete concu.
9. UTILISE! L'OUTIL APPROPRIE. Ne forcez pas I'outil
ou une piece a faire un travail qui n'est pas le sien.
10. PORTEZ UN HABILLEMENT APPROPRIE. Pas de
vetements laches, de gants, de cravate, de bague.
bracelet ou autres accessoires qui peuvent se pren¬
dre dans les pieces en mouvement. Nous conseillons
des chaussures anti-derapantes et un serre-tete si
vous avez les cheveux longs.

PORTEZ TOUJOURS DES LUNETTES DE SURETE,
ainsi qu'un masque a poussiere si I'outil produit de
la poussiere. Les lunettes ordinaires n'ont que des
verres resistant aux chocs, elles ne sont PAS des
lunettes de surete.
12. FIXEZ LA PIECE A TRAVAILLER, a I'aide de crampons
ou d'un etau si c'est possible. Ils sont plus surs que
vos mains et gardent celles-ci libres pour manier
I'outil.
13. NE PORTEZ PAS LES MOUVEMENTS TROP LOIN DE
VOUS. Gardez a tout moment votre equilibre et une
assise ferme.
14. ENTRETENEZ L'OUTIL AVEC SOIN. Gardez-le bien
affute et propre pour en obtenir un rendement meil¬
leur et plus sur. Suivez les instructions pour la lubri-
fication et le ehangement des accessoires.
15. DEBRANCHEZ avant I'entretien ou quand vous chan-
gez une piece telle que la meule ou une protection.
16. EVITEZ LES DEMARRAGES ACCIDENTELS. Assurez-
vous que I'interrupteur est bien en position OFF avant
de brancher i'outil.

17. SERVEZ-VQUS DES ACCESSOIRES RECOMMAN-
DES. Consultez pour cela le manual d'instructions.
Tout accessoires non conseilfe peut entramer un
grave accident.
18. NE VOUS TENEZ JAMAIS SUR UN OUTIL. De gra¬
ves accidents peuvent survenir si I'outil bascule ou
si une pfece coupante est touches accidenteilement.

GENERAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
1. KNOW YOUR POWER TOOL. Read the owner's
manual carefully. Learn the tools applications and
limitations, as well as the specific potential hazards
peculiar to it.
2. KEEP GUARDS IN PLACE and in working order.
3. REMOVE ADJUSTING KEYS AND WRENCHES. Form
habit of checking to see that keys and adjusting
wrenches are removed from tool before turning it on.
4. KEEP WORK AREA CLEAN. Cluttered areas and ben¬
ches invite accidents.
5. DON'T USE IN DANGEROUS ENVIRONMENT. Don't
use power tools in damp or wet locations, or expose
them to rain. Keep work area well lighted.
6. KEEP CHILDREN AWAY. All visitors should be kept
safe distance from work area.
7. MAKE WORKSHOP KID PROOF with padlocks,
master switches, or by removing starter keys.
8. DON'T FORCE TOOL. It will do the job better and
safer at the rate for which it was designed.
9. USE RIGHT TOOL. Don't force tool or attachment to
do a job for which it was not designed.
10, WEAR PROPER APPAREL. No loose clothing, gloves,
neckties, rings, bracelets, or other jewelry to get
caught in moving parts. Nonslip footwear is recom¬
mended. Wear protective hair covering to contain
long hair.

11. ALWAYS USE SAFETY GLASSES. Also use face or
dust mask if cutting operation is dusty. Everyday
eyeglasses only have impact resistant lenses, they
are NOT safety glasses.
12. SECURE WORK. Use clamps or a vise to hold work
when practical. It's safer than using your hand and
it frees both hands to operate tool.
13. DON'T OVERREACH. Keep proper footing and
balance at all times.
14. MAINTAIN TOOLS WITH CARE. Keep tools sharp and
clean for best and safest performance. Follow in¬
structions for lubricating and changing acces- sories.
15. DISCONNECT TOOLS before servicing; when chang¬
ing accessories such as blades or adjusting guides.
16. REDUCE THE RISK OF UNINTENTIONAL STARTING.
Make sure switch is in off position before plugging in.
17. USE RECOMMENDED ACCESSORIES. Consult the
owner's manual for recommended accessories. The
use of improper accessories may cause risk of injury
to persons.
18. NEVER STAND ON TOOL. Serious injury could oc¬
cur if the tool is tipped or if the cutting tool is ac¬
cidentally contacted.
19. CHECK DAMAGED PARTS. Before further use of the
tool, a guard or other part that is damaged should
be carefully checked to ensure that it will operate
properly and perform its intended function — check
for alignment of moving parts, binding of moving
parts, breakage of parts, mounting, and any other
conditions that may affect its operation. A guard or
other part that is damaged should be properly
repaired or replaced.
