adjusted by monitor control (15)
22. PRIORTY
Terminal PRIORITY for a switch. When closed only the signal of CH1 can be heard. The CH2 till CH 5 are muted
23. TEL PAGING
Input TEL PAGING for a line level signal of the highest priority
24. INPUT SWITCHES
LINE: line level
PHANTOM: Phantom switch on when using a condenser microphone that needs phantom power
MIC: microphone level, phantom voltage switched off
25. Combo XLR
Combo input, suitable for both XLR and 6.3mm jack for CH4 and CH 5 to connect microphone or audio units with line output
(CD-player, cassette recorder, radio etc.)
26. LINE OUT
Terminals for connecting with another amplifier or a recorder. One for each zone 1 to 4
27. SPEAKER OUTPUT
Speaker output terminal for connecting speakers (individual zones COM - 80, COM, 100V)
28. AC IN AND FUSE HOLDER
Socket for plugging in the supplied power cord. For instructions on how to change the fuse, see "REPLACING THE FUSE"
29. GND
Clamping screw for a possible ground connection
30. VOLUME
Volume control for the TEL paging
31. ZONE
Dipswitches
Put the switch of the zone to the lower position for feeding the signal at the terminal TEL paging to the corresponding zone
32. CHANNEL 5 LINE
RCA jack for connecting audio units with line output (CD player, cassette recorder, radio, etc.)
33. COMBO XLR
Combo input, suitable for both XLR and 6.3mm jack for CH4 and CH 5 to connect microphone or audio units with line output
TEL PAGING
This unit is provided with the input TEL paging for emergency announcements or connection to a telephone system. Feed the
signal via a shielded audio cable tot the terminal "R". Connect the ground and the shield tot the terminal "G". Connect a switch tot
the terminals "T" and "G". the switch is used to release the announcement. Set the DIP switches ZONE for the zones where the
emergency announcements are to be heard to the lower position (ON). The volume for these announcements can be separately
adjusted by rotating the volume button on the rear side.
CONNECTING WITH BT
Connecting your BT-device to the amplifier, follow below steps:
1. Turn on BT on your smartphone or tablet.
2. Press [Mode] to enter BT mode.
3. Turn on BT streaming on your device. The device will scan for pairable BT devices in the reception range.
4. Select "Power Dynamics PAM 2004" from the list with found devices.
5. Start playback on your BT device. Playback now takes place emitting sound from the unit.
