Automatic deactivation
After approximately 15 minutes the device will auto-
matically power itself off (APO). Pressing the [APO]
button for a longer duration switches the Auto Power
Off function on or off.
Background illumination
Pressing the [HOLD] button for a longer duration
switches on the background illumination. The illumi-
nation switches itself off automatically after approxi-
mately 1 minute.
Save function (HOLD)
In the event of difficult to reach measuring positions,
it may not be possible to read the display correctly.
Pressing the [HOLD] button freezes the current
measured value which enables it to be read from a
comfortable position.
Pressing the [HOLD] button again returns you to nor-
mal measuring mode.
True RMS
When measuring wave forms that are not sinusoidal,
the use of the True RMS function will result in fewer
measuring faults than using traditional measuring
procedures. Both sinusoidal and non-sinusoidal sig-
nals can be measured exactly using the True RMS
function.
