• Never blast objects that contain hazardous sub-
stances (e.g. asbestos).
• Never use solvent-based liquids, acetone, undi-
luted acids or solvents as cleaning agents! A
spray mist from these substances is highly haz-
ardous to health and possibly explosive.
• Live components in the work area must be pro-
tected from dirt and dust particles being blown
around.
• Only use compressed air. Never use air contain-
ing chemicals, synthetic oils (organic solvents),
salts or corrosive gas, as it can cause damage
and malfunctions.
• Use only lubricants recommended by the manu-
facturer.
• Compressed air products are not earthed. Pro-
ceed with caution when coming into contact with
power sources.
• Always attach protective caps when transporting
or storing products and accessories.
Maintenance
• Interrupt, vent and depressurise all connections
before commencing any work on the product.
• Only those maintenance and fault elimination
tasks described here may be carried out. Any
other tasks must be completed by a specialist.
• Only use original replacement parts. Only these
replacement parts are designed and suitable for
the device. Other replacement parts will not only
lead to an invalidation of the warranty, they may
also endanger you and your environment.
Device-specific safety instructions
• Activities such as drilling, sawing, grinding and
spraying create vapours or dust, the constituents
of which be carcinogenic, cell damaging or muta-
genic. These constituents include: lead in lead-
based paints and varnishes; crystalline silica in
bricks, cement and other masonry work; arsenic
and chromate in chemically-treated wood. To min-
imise health risks, such activities should only be
carried out in well ventilated spaces using suitable
protective equipment. Use dust extractors and fil-
ter systems wherever the possibility arises or the
situation dictates.
• Make sure that the work area is well ventilated.
• Always wear suitable protective clothing. The
wearing of shock-resistant eye protection, hear-
ing protection, dust protection mask, gloves,
sturdy footwear and close-fitting work clothing
reduces the risk of injury.
• Check beforehand whether the coating material
you are using is compatible with the product. A list
of materials used to manufacture the product can
be provided on request.
• Also observe the additional relevant documenta-
tion, including datasheets for coating materials
and recommendations by other manufacturers.
• Make sure that there are no ignition sources (e.g.
naked flames, burning cigarettes, non-explosion
protected lamps etc.) within your working area.
• Never spray onto a naked flames, a glowing sur-
face or onto illuminants.
• Make sure there is adequate lighting when work-
ing with the product.

• Always maintain a firm stance and have a natural
posture when working.
• The on-off switch must be released if the power
supply fails, in order to prevent an abrupt start-up
when the power supply is restored.
• The blowing out of blind holes and blowing on of
edges can cause excessive noises. Always wear
hearing protection when handling the airgun.
• Never insert tips and/or metallic objects into the
product.
• Symbols appearing on your product may not be
removed or covered. Information notices on the
product that are no longer legible must be
replaced immediately.
Read and observe the operating instruc-
tions before commissioning.
Wear hearing protection.
Wear protective goggles.
Wear a dust mask.
Wear protective gloves
Wear close-fitting work clothes
Keep away from ignition sources.

Check the safe condition of the product:
• Check whether there are any visible defects.
• Check all parts to make sure that they fit tightly.
• Check whether the compressed air system is
pressurised.
• Check whether the compressed air connection
and pressure lines are sealed.
