Note: Always fill the damage site from light to
dark. For vertical surfaces, it is recommended
that you mix the colour tone beforehand, then
take it up with the putty knife or melter and fill the
damage site.
– Turn the melter off by moving the on/off switch away
from the melter tip.
– Let the filler cool off for around ten seconds.
– Remove the excess wax by wiping the planer back
and forth over the damage site with light pressure.
– For smooth surfaces, we recommend straightening
and smoothing the worked surface with the smooth
side of the planer.
– Imitate the structure for fine-tuning, if necessary run-
ning the planer back and forth over the damage site.
– Remove the remaining excess wax with the abrasive
sponge. At the same time, adapt the gloss level of
the surface.
– Let the melter tip cool off and then clean the melter.
Changing the batteries
– Open the battery compartment lid.
– Replace the batteries. Pay attention to correct polar-
ity.
– Close the battery compartment lid again.
Cleaning
NOTICE! Danger of short circuit! Water
which has entered the casing may cause short
circuit.
• Never dip the repair kit in water.
• Make sure that no water enters the casing.
NOTICE! Danger due to incorrect operation!
Improper handling of the repair kit can lead to
damage.
• Do not use any aggressive or solvent-based clean-
ing products, or sharp or metallic cleaning items like
knives, hard scrapers and the like. These may dam-
age the surface of the product.
– Ensure that the melter is switched off and that the
melter tip has fully cooled off.
– Clean the planer with the putty knife.
– Clean the melter tip with the cleaning cloth.
Storing, transport
Storing
CAUTION! Danger of injury! Make sure no
unauthorised persons can gain access to the
appliance!
– Remove the batteries from the melter before storing.
– Always keep the repair kit in a dry place, protected
from direct sunlight.
– It is better to store the repair kit in a storage case.
– Store the repair kit out of the reach of children and
securely locked away.
Transport
– Secure the appliance against slipping.
– If shipping, use the original packaging wherever pos-
sible.

Disposal of the appliance
A crossed-out wheelie bin icon means: Batteries
and rechargeable batteries, electrical or electro-
nic devices must not be disposed of with house-
hold waste. They may contain substances that
are harmful to the environment and human
health.
Consumers must dispose of waste electrical devices,
spent portable batteries and rechargeable batteries
separately from household waste at an official collection
point to ensure that these items are processed correctly.
The product can be returned free of charge in accor-
dance with the legal requirements, for example through
a municipal waste disposal company or a dealer.
Batteries, rechargeable batteries and lamps that
are not permanently installed in waste electrical
equipment and can be removed in a non-
destructive way must be removed and disposed
of separately before disposal of the equipment. Lithium
batteries and rechargeable battery packs of all systems
are only to be handed in to the waste collection points in
a discharged state. The batteries must always be pro-
tected against short circuits by taping off the poles.
All end users are responsible for deleting any personal
data stored on waste devices prior to their disposal.
Disposal of the packaging
The packaging consists of cardboard and cor-
respondingly marked plastics that can be recy-
cled.
– Make these materials available for recy-
cling.
