• Protect yourself from hot, dripping wax.
• Make sure that the melter is always turned off while
you are not using it.
• Wait until the melter tip has cooled off before clean-
ing it.
• Avoid accidentally turning on the melter. Make sure
that the melter is switched off before carrying or
transporting it.
NOTICE! Danger of short circuit and dam-
age! Improper handling of the repair kit can lead
to damage.
• Check the repair kit for visible damage before each
use. Do not use a melter which is damaged or has
been dropped.
• Do not open the casing and do not modify the melter.
Leave repairs to the experts. Contact the service
address given in the customer box for this purpose.
Liability and warranty claims are excluded if repairs
have been carried out independently, or the kit has
been operated incorrectly.
• Never put the repair kit on or near hot surfaces (e.g.
oven tops, heating etc.), and never expose it to high
temperature (direct sunlight etc.) or atmospheric
influences (rain etc.).
• Never use the melter in damp or wet environments.
• Never dip the melter in water, and never pour liquids
into the melter.
• Symbols affixed to your unit may not be removed or
covered. Information on the unit that is no longer leg-
ible must be replaced immediately.

observe the instructions for use.

Unpacking and assembly
NOTICE! Risk of damage! If you open the
packaging with a sharp knife or other sharp
objects without exercising due care, the repair
kit can be easily damaged. Be very careful when
you open it.
– Remove the repair kit from its packaging.
– Check if the shipment is complete.
– Check whether the repair kit or its individual parts are
damaged. If this is the case, do not use the repair kit.
Contact the manufacturer's customer service.
Assembling the melter
– Remove the protective cover.
– Open the battery cover.
– Insert the batteries into the battery compartment.
– Make sure the polarity is correct.
– Close the battery cover.
– The melter is now ready for use.
Operation
Check before switching on!
DANGER! Risk of injury! The device must
only be put into operation if no faults are found
during the check-up. If any part of the device is
defective, it must be replaced before the next
use.
Check the safe condition of the device:
– Check whether there are any visible defects.
– Check whether all parts of the device are firmly
attached.
Repair damage sites
NOTICE! Risk of damage! The repair kit is
intended for indoor use only.
– Clean the damage site with the putty knife and
remove all loose parts.
– Seek out at least two wax sticks with suitable colour
tones from light to dark. Please select the colours
carefully, as the manufacturer does not accept any
liability for incorrect selection or mixing of colours.
– Pick up the melter, move the on/off switch in the
direction of the melter tip and hold the button down.
– As soon as you press the button, the red indicator
light will go on. Only then is the device ready for use.
The melter tip will become very hot within a few sec-
onds.
– Melt small portions of filler from the wax sticks with
the melter tip, and introduce these portion by portion
to the damage site, until it is slightly overfilled.
