Removable head rim section
It is possible to remove a section from the front of the sanding pad rim so that the sanding disc
can, e.g., reach right up to the wall or into corners. This section is attached via a clip mechanism
and can be removed by simply pulling. To reattach, push the part back in according to the slots.

First, set the dial to its initial position (anticlockwise) and only then adjust the dial in the direction
of the arrow until sufficient suction power is achieved.
7.0 MAINTENANCE AND CARE INFORMATION
Always switch off the appliance and unplug the mains plug before carrying out maintenance or
inspection work.
Check all of the parts for signs of wear. Do not continue to use the product if you find any defects.
Parts should only be replaced with original spare parts, and by an expert, in accordance with the
manufacturer's specifications. A lack of care and maintenance can damage the appliance.
Dangerous situations can arise. Regular maintenance helps to ensure the safety of the product
and increases its service life.
The appliance should be regularly cleaned after sanding.
• Regular cleaning of the appliance extends its service life and reduces the need for repairs. Do
not use liquids for cleaning.
• You are advised to clean the appliance immediately after each use.
• Clean the appliance with a brush and a clean cloth or blow carefully with compressed air.
7.1 REPLACING THE CARBON BRUSH
A replacement carbon brush is supplied for when the original carbon brush wears out.
Use a screwdriver to open the carbon brush cover and remove the carbon brush.
Insert the replacement carbon brush into the brush holder, then replace the cover and secure it
by turning the screwdriver clockwise.
