Operation
Check before switching on!
Check the safe condition of the device:
– Check whether there are any visible defects.
– Check whether all parts of the product are firmly
attached.
– Make sure that the On/Off switch is not locked.
Switching on/off
– Switching on: Set the On/Off switch (2) to posi-
tion [1].
– Switching off: Set the On/Off switch (2) to posi-
tion [0].
Electronic speed control
The product is equipped with electronic speed con-
trol.
The speed can be steplessly controlled (speed range:
► Technical data – p. 26).
– Turning the speed controller (1) towards [Max]
increases the speed.
– Turning the speed controller (1) towards [1]
reduces the speed.
NOTICE! Risk of product damage! The
motor can overheat if continuously run
under heavy load and at low speeds. If the
motor has been run at elevated speed, allow
it to cool by idling.
Sanding
– Clamp in the workpiece or hold it firmly.
– Switch on the product and press it against the sur-
face to be sanded applying even pressure.
DANGER! Risk of death through electric
shock! Only use the product for dry sand-
ing.
WARNING! Danger of fire! Do not use a
dust container when sanding metal! Hot
metal particles can ignite the material of the
container.
Note: When working on vertical surfaces,
hold the product such that the dust container
faces downwards.
Fault/malfunction
Product not running.
Sanding power too low.
If you can't fix the fault yourself, contact your nearest
vendor. Please be aware that any improper repairs
will also invalidate the warranty and additional costs
may be incurred.

If something doesn't work...
Malfunctions are often caused by minor faults. You
can easily remedy most of these yourself. Please
consult the following table before contacting the ven-
dor. You will save yourself a lot of trouble and possibly
money too.

Disposal of the appliance

ment and human health.
Note: Excessive imprints do not lead to
increased sanding performance, but leads
