Maintenance / Storage
After each use, your stainless steel plate should only be cleaned with water or white vinegar.
Put on protective gloves and pour water or vinegar on the WARM plate (Be careful of
splashing and steam).
Using a suitable squeegee, clean the plate to remove the cooking residue and then wipe the
plate.
Empty the grease cup and wipe it off (remember to put it back in its place).
If the appliance has not been used for a long period of time, check and clean the burners if
necessary with air under pressure.
Before storing your plancha griddle, turn off the gas valve, unplug the gas cylinder and store it
outdoors in a dry, well-ventilated area away from any heat sources. Store your plancha
griddle where it will not be damaged and protected from moisture.
WARNING: DO NOT put ice on your hot plancha griddle as it can deform and warp the
plate.
