In addition to the instructions in these operating instructions, the general safety,
hygiene and accident prevention regulations of the legislator must be observed.
In general
• The manual must always be kept at the workplace.
• As a first-time user, you will be instructed by a specialist. Children and young people
under the age of 18 must not use the appliance. If a young person over the age of
16 is trained by a specialist under supervision, they are exempt from the ban. Only
lend or hand over the appliance to persons who are familiar with the operation of the
appliance. Please enclose the operating instructions with the delivery. The operating
personnel are responsible to third parties. Keep other people away while using the
appliance. Distraction can cause you to lose control of the device.
• Be attentive and carry out all work calmly and carefully. Never work when you are
tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs, medication or other substances that can
impair your senses. Pay particular attention to your condition at the end of the working
day. A moment of carelessness when using the appliance can result in serious injury.
• Use the appliance, equipment and tools in accordance with these instructions. Consider
the working conditions and the work to be performed. Using the appliance for purposes
other than those for which it is intended can lead to dangerous situations.
• Never modify the device and its operating and safety mechanisms or render the
operating and safety mechanisms unusable. Tampering with the appliance and
modifications to the operating and safety equipment endanger your safety and may
result in damage to the appliance.
• Never wear rings, watches, ties or body jewelry while working. Tie long hair together
and secure. Always wear practical clothing made of robust material that fits well but
does not hinder you. Risk of being pulled into rotating parts. Avoid injuries by wearing
personal protective equipment.
• Always wear personal protective equipment and tight-fitting safety goggles. Ensure that
the safety goggles are correctly fitted. Wearing personal protective equipment, such as
a dust mask, non-slip safety shoes, hearing protection and safety goggles, depending
on the type and use of the appliance, reduces the risk of injury and permanent damage.
• Never climb onto the appliance! Danger of tipping over.
• Make sure that other people, including animals, are at a safe distance from the work
area. Everyone who enters the work area must wear personal protective equipment.
